Welcome to White Horse Shavings (2008) Ltd.

Our shavings are produced from home grown timber (pine and spruce), all originating from well managed and sustainable forests in England and southern Scotland. We do not include any waste or re-cycled wood in our shavings, therefore perfectly natural and absolutely no contaminants.

The drying process uses the sawdust extracted from the shavings, as fuel for the furnace to generate the warm air-flow. This ensures maximum dust extraction and no odour contamination from fossil fuels.

Shavings are compressed into 120 litre sacks that weigh approximately 20kg. These are palletised in bale numbers of 24, 30 or 36. All pallets are then plastic hooded and wrapped so they can be stored outside and remain waterproof. Bales are also sold in smaller numbers if required.

We deliver to anywhere on our own transport and if required, can supply a fork-lift to unload. Haulage costs are negotiated dependant upon distance. Customers are welcome to provide their own transport for collection and we will load promptly and at no extra charge.

Our customer base includes some of the biggest names in the professional sport, specialist equine suppliers, agricultural merchants, police forces as well as independent horse owners.
